DELTA DEL TIGRE AND PARANA ON A ZODIAC

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and come to sail on a Zodiac through the Delta del Tigre.

The Delta del Tigre, is the lower part of the Paraná river that starts in the Province of Entre Ríos and flows into the Río de la Plata.
Just one hour away from Buenos Aires, the Delta del Tigre is a unique opportunity to enjoy nature and get to know the life of the islanders, for whom water plays a very important role in their everyday life.

Along the Delta live and work more than 3,500 people who have been organizing their lives over time between water and islands in this unusual and beautiful part of Argentina.

We will travel the Delta on a Zodiac with our friendly guides, who will explain how the islanders live, how they supply themselves with food and electricity, how they organize transportation through water, garbage collection, what kind of work they do, etc.

We will enjoy the tranquillity of the place observing the beautiful wooden houses with their small docks along the delta, the storage boats, the children going to school in kayak, etc.

The Zodiacs, being lighter, have access to places that other vessels of higher draft cannot access.
This is the best way to get to the key points and wild nature.

The routes of up to 45 km run through the first section of the Delta where you can see inhabited areas, hidden streams surrounded by unspoilt nature and places where you can swim.

If the height of the water allows it, we will also visit a hippy commune that lives on selling crafts made with the vegetation of the Delta.
The longest route runs through the second section of the Delta, less inhabited and ideal for entering in wilder nature, swimming, watching flowers, birds and even otters.

If you want to spend several days at the Delta we have some accommodation options. Just ask us.

You cannot leave Buenos Aires without visiting this wonderful place that luckily is not yet part of the mass tourism circuits and therefore keeps all the charm of a small paradise just an hour away from the city.

Come to the Delta del Tigre and enjoy a haven of peace
