Your driver will be waiting for you to drive you to your hotel, where you will be welcomed by a member of our team.
Your English-speaking guide will collect you by car for a 6-hour city tour. You will visit by car the neighborhood of La Boca with its famous Caminito street, Puerto Madero district and Recoleta and it’s fascinating cemetery. After lunch, you will continue by foot to visit the historical center and the popular neighborhood of San Telmo.
At night, you will discover the magic of tango, enjoying a tango dinner-show with live orchestra and talented dancers.
You will fly in the morning to Mendoza.
In the afternoon, you will discover a family-run estancia (farm) where you will do a 2-hour horse-ride in the Andes precordillera followed by a traditional barbecue dinner.
Early pick-up for a day tour to the Aconcagua Provincial park. You will make a few stops before arriving at the park where you will do a 1-hour walk with panoramic points of view over South America’s highest peak. You will stop at Puente de los Incas on your way back.
Avoid mass tourism and meet the owners of family-run bodegas who will share their craft. You will taste different types of wine and Malbec, sometimes directly from the barrels. You will then share a barbecue lunch the Argentine way, enjoying the company of one of the bodega owners.
Free morning to visit Mendoza before your flight to Salta.
Free afternoon to visit the colonial town of Salta.
You will leave in a minivan towards Purmamarca and the Hill of the seven colours. There, you will visit its vibrant market before continuing to the salinas grandes, a spectacular salt desert at an altitude of 3400 meters. On your way you will enjoy the impressive Cuesta del Lipan before arriving at the Abra del Potrerillo pass (4150 m) surrounded by high summits.
End of the tour in Purmamarca.
Free morning and bus transfer to Humahuaca.
You will meet your local driver in Humahuaca to go to the Hornocal, an amazing mountain range with 14 different shades. The mountains reach an altitude of 4,761 meters above sea level.
You will then spend the night in a charming mountain inn with exceptional hosts, totally disconnected from the worldly noise.
At the end of an amazing scenic road looking like the end of the world, you will find a surprising little town clinging to the mountain. Free time to visit the little town.
You will leave in a 4×4 with the owners of the inn to their altitude wine cellar, established in a former mine at almost 4,000 meters above sea level. On the way you will visit their nature reserve and their vineyards enjoying a breathtaking view over the Humahuaca gorge. At the top, you will enjoy a delicious picada (tapas lunch) made with local products.
Drive to Cachi at your own pace with a rental car. You will enjoy several viewpoints on the way over breathtaking landscapes.
Drive to Cafayate with your rental car, you will be amazed by the Quebrada de las Flechas lunar landscapes. On the way, you can take a side trip to visit the beautiful Colomé bodega.
Driving back to Salta you will be able to make different stops to admire the various and colourful Quebrada de las Conchas rock formations.
You will drop the car at the airport before flying to Iguazu.
Accompanied by your English-speaking guide you will head to the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls for the day. You will trace the waterfalls on the different trails available (upper and lower) until you arrive at the breathtaking Devil’s throat.
There is also an optional boat tour to the base of the falls (an extra)
Accompanied by your English-speaking guide you will head to the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls which boasts a more panoramic view over the falls. Following this you can decide whether or not you wish to visit the bird park which hosts over 150 different species of birds before heading to the airport for your flight back to Buenos Aires.
One hour away by train from Buenos Aires, you will find the Tigre Delta, which is the size of Belgium. In the company of your English-speaking guide, you will leave by zodiac for an off the beaten path tour to discover how local people live on the islands. You will discover remote areas, narrow streams with very diverse vegetation, as well as new islands with native plants. You will have the possibility to have lunch at a local restaurant on an island.
At night, accompanied by a local bilingual dancer, you will venture into the underground tango scene and learn and enjoy all that it has to offer, discovering two different types of milongas.
Your private driver will drive you to the international airport for your flight home.
